HAGERSTOWN, MD (November 1, 2023) – We’ve had a busy month, Flying Boxcars fans! From our stadium construction to finally being able to meet so many of you great fans who are helping this project come together. We wanted to keep you in the loop and let you catch up on what we’ve been up to!
Name the Mascot:
Hagerstown, we’re letting YOU name our mascot! To name the mascot, head over to the Valley Mall to cast your name suggestion into our ballot box. Name-entries will be taken from 12pm until 6pm every day until November 15th.
Merchandise:
This week we released two brand-new caps!

Our Valley Mall kiosk offers exclusive items as well, including mini bats, pennants, and a sticker package. While you’re at it, make sure to pick up a copy of our inaugural schedule for free!

Last week we released our latest virtual fly-through of our stadium, displaying our brand-new state of the art ballpark. Topping out Ceremony:
Along with the Maryland Stadium Authority and Turner Construction, we celebrated another major milestone in the building of our downtown ballpark. In our topping out ceremony, our final steel beam was lifted to the top of our ballpark.

Mummers’ Parade:
We took part in our first Mummers’ parade last week! A Hagerstown tradition, we couldn’t be left out! Joined by the West End little league, we made our way through Downtown Hagerstown, getting to meet many fans. We can’t wait to see all of you at the ballpark this spring and stay on the lookout for our float at other upcoming parades in the area.
